  Universal Orlando Resort kicks off the holiday season this year with live performances by Christmas music mega-sensation Mannheim Steamroller, who will perform at Universal Studios Florida on Saturday, December 5. The Grammy Award-winning, platinum-selling group will play songs created specifically for the resort’s original holiday stage show “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” as well as brand-new music from their newly released album Christmasville.  Founder Chip Davis will join Mannheim Steamroller in his only scheduled appearance of the holiday season.  Mannheim Steamroller has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.   While last year’s Mannheim concert took place in the middle of the Universal streets, this year’s concerts will be performed at Universal’s new Music Plaza stage, which features a 15,000-square-foot viewing lawn that is a whole lot more comfortable to stand on than the crowded theme park pavement.
December 12, Chris Isaak will perform at Universal Orlando.
December 19, Natalie Cole will be in concert at Universal Orlando.

Gather and watch as Macy's Holiday Parade™, passes through the streets of Universal Studios^®. You'll see authentic balloons and floats direct from Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade^® in New York City, plus colorful marching bands from around the state, street performers, even Santa Claus himself!

Don't miss the festivities of Grinchmas™ at Universal's Islands of Adventure^®, featuring a live musical performance of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," with music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller. This retelling of Dr. Seuss's holiday tale will have you singing and dancing along with the Whos to your favorite songs. Then, browse the Who-ville Wonky Tree Lot and take your photo with The Grinch™ himself.

Wrap up your day at Universal Studios with the big Hollywood finish of Universal 360-A Cinesphere Spectacular^SM. Through the unique "Cinesphere" technology you'll experience the sights and sounds of some of Hollywood's biggest films projected onto huge spheres in the Universal Studios lagoon, plus one of the largest laser displays in Florida, dazzling pyrotechnics and more.

Holiday Activities at the On-site Hotels
The celebration continues at the three on-site hotels at Universal Orlando – Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel^® and Loews Royal Pacific Resort - all of which will glisten with holiday decorations.
   • Loews Portofino Bay Hotel kicks off the season on Friday, November 26 with 'Holiday Harbor Nights', a wine tasting, food and jazz celebration on the piazza.
   • Hard Rock Hotel welcomes Santa to the Kitchen restaurant on Fridays in December
   • Loews Royal Pacific Resort rings in the new year with ALOHA 2011, a New Year's Eve  celebration, with a special kids-only party right next door to the main event.
